Tracy Field

Tracy is a senior costs consultant with 35 years’ in the law, the last 22 of which are in legal costs.  Tracy started out as a personal assistant to a partner in a large law firm. From there, she worked her way up to managing executive, with a substantial case load, conducting mainly public and private law matters.  In 1997 she retrained to become a costs consultant, working in-house with various London solicitors and costs drafting firms.  She has experience in all areas of costs but now specialises in legal aid matters, working extensively in public and private law, wardship, child abduction, inherent jurisdiction, Court of Protection, housing, judicial review and other civil litigation.  Her expertise in the field of family legal aid costs is first rate.
