Darren Hills

Darren is a senior costs consultant, with 31 years’ experience in all areas of costs. He has worked extensively in such areas as housing, public law, judicial review and police & prison law and he has broad experience in all areas of general civil litigation. He is a highly regarded advocate, having an excellent success rate in conducting detailed assessment hearings; and he has been involved in a number of substantial and high profile cases at both Supreme Court and European Court level. Darren regularly conducts detailed assessment proceedings for clients, often achieving outstanding results.  He was recently instructed in the Grenfell Tower Public Inquiry.
